  • Day 0: Get to Ha Giang

    Please arrange your own travel to Ha Giang City before the tour departure.

    Lila Inn can assist with booking round-trip buses to Ha Giang at various times from Hanoi, Sapa, Ha Long, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba. Check bus schedules and pricing here.

    We offer free dorm bed for one night prior to the tour. If you would like to upgrade to a private room, check the availability and book here.

  • Day 1 Tour Schedule

    Ha Giang City – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van (130 km)

    7:30 AM Have breakfast, meet your guide/easy rider, and receive tour information at Lila Hostel in Ha Giang City before starting your adventure.

    9:30 AM Get to Bac Sum Pass, the longest pass in Ha Giang, often likened to a giant snake slithering along steep cliffs.

    10:00 AM Arrive at Quan Ba Heaven Gate and enjoy panoramic views of Tam Son Town.

    10:30 AM Walk around Nam Dam Cultural Village, a beautiful blend of terraced fields and primaeval forests, featuring traditional rammed earth houses of the Dao people.

    11:00 AM Visit Lung Tam Linen Cooperative, a long-standing traditional craft village of brocade weaving by the Hmong.

    12:00 PM Stop at Yen Minh Town for lunch.

    1:30 PM Proceed to the territory of Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark.

    Arrive at the legendary Tham Ma Pass, a historical site with continuous hairpin bends where horses were once tested for strength and endurance.

    2:00 PM Continue through steep valleys to the Nine-Turn Pass, marvelling at its twists and turns.

    Then, visit the picturesque Sung La Valley, nestled between rugged, rocky cat-eared mountains.

    3:30 PM Tour the H’Mong King Palace, a national relic showcasing a blend of traditional Chinese and H’Mong architectural styles.

    4:30 PM Check in at your homestay in Dong Van Town for the evening.

  • Day 2 Tour Schedule

    Dong Van – Yen Minh – Ha Giang City (150 km)

    8:00 AM Have breakfast and visit the Dong Van Ethnic Market (Sunday mornings) to experience local culture and buy unique handicrafts and food.

    9:00 AM Conquer the stunning Ma Pi Leng Pass, known as the "King of Passes" with extremely sharp hairpin bends for spectacular mountain views.

    10:00 AM There are 2 options for you:

    • Option 1: Hike 5 km to White Cliff for unmatched panoramic views of the Nho Que River, Tu San Canyon and surrounding landscapes.
    • Option 2: Enjoy a boat ride (about 30 minutes) on the emerald Nho Que River, sightseeing the Tu San Canyon, the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia.

    1:00 PM Have lunch at Mau Due Village.

    2:00 PM Sightsee at tranquil Duong Thuong Valley, where ancient houses lie beneath towering mountains.

    3:30 PM Visit A Boong Waterfall and take a dip in this peaceful oasis hidden in the forest.

    5:00 PM Return to Ha Giang City to complete your adventure.

    This tour combines adventure, culture, and stunning natural landscapes, making it the perfect quick getaway for those wanting to explore Ha Giang.

Outstanding service!!! Liem and his staff were very accommodating when we arrived at 2:30 AM. Beds were comfortable and clean. Showers and bathrooms were great. We did two days and one night on the loop. Our two guides were extremely good!! They were really happy to show us as much they could in the short time frame that we had. Our homestay hosts were very nice! They provided us with fantastic accommodations and food. The happy water flowed quite freely the night we were there😆. The food was delicious!! Lila Inn offers many different packages for people with more time to do a tour of this beautiful part of the country. Overall, a fantastic experience, for someone visiting Vietnam for the first time. I highly recommend this to everyone wanting to do “The Loop”

More than just a hotel to sleep. This is motorcycle hire and guided info and an amazing owner who looks after you!

Hotel is great and breakfast is really nice too. For the price it’s honestly a really solid option and it’s not full of a heap of young backpackers. The real hero is Thuan. Just an absolute legend, organised us motorbikes and sent a Google map itinerary for us to do the loop ourselves. Had proper good helmets and protective gear. Helped us translate in some rural remote towns ( part of his itinerary and it was amazing) his recommendations felt like a really genuine experience not just the touristy areas. At the end of the trip he took me to get money out, booked my bus transfer and even let my partner and I shower before getting on the bus even though we weren’t staying at the hotel that night. Excellent service. Thanks heaps Thuan, you made my trip such a memorable experience and I’m really grateful!

Exceptional Stay!

Excellent place to stay. Staff is amazing and go out of their way to help you. Their Ha Giang loop tour is one of the best! They would be my first recommendation for anyone doing the loop! The dorm rooms are spacious and very comfortable! Bathrooms are huge with many showers. Breakfast was great! Wifi worked great! Very clean place and very peaceful!

Great place! The people who carry it are very nice. They arranged the coach for us to arrive and the Ha Giang Loop tour. We arrived at 4am and they had given us a video to get to the room (private room that looks like new, ideal) also Liam woke up at 4am to make sure everything was ok. The motorbike tour with them was superb, experienced drivers, delicious and typical food. Ninh and Long took us to unique places. We even went trekking. We really liked the experience, I went with my partner and they made us feel very comfortable. I recommend it. They are very nice people and they organized a perfect 2 day and 1 night tour for us. The hostel room during the route was beautiful, the best view I have ever seen. I’m so glad I did it with them. A 10, thank you very much!!!

01 Can your Easy Riders speak English?

In each group tour, we arrange at least one Easy Rider who can speak basic English. You can also easily communicate with them using Google Translate, as thousands of our customers have done.

For those who prefer a fluent English-speaking guide, we offer this option for an additional fee, which can be selected in the booking form.

For the deposit to secure your spot, you can pay via PayPal. 


For the remaining balance, we accept card payments and cash in Vietnamese Dong before the tour starts.
